Czech[edit]

@Perunslava: What are you doing? What do you mean by Unexplained removal of section? It was explained (here) that Czech language is not an official language of Vojvodina. Why do you keep inserting Czech and Polish namea in the infobox? There are more than 20 languages spoken in Vojvodina, but we don't add all of them to the infobox. There's over TWENTY SIX ethnic groups living in the region. Czechs and Poles are among them. Also why add Romanian if Romanian is not an official language there? You are obviously cherry picking. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Perunslava (talkcontribs) 03:17, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Perunslava: I know it can be boring, but what about checking what the sources say? According to this government source (used for the "Official languages" entry in the infobox), Romanian is an official language. --T*U (talk) 11:11, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Traditional symbolis[edit]

@AirWolf: Can you, please, put the traditional flag and coat of arms back into the infobox? According to the corrsponding laws, traditional coat of arm and traditional flag are on equal level as the flag and coat of arms and should always be used together. Vanjagenije (talk) 21:10, 16 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Vanjagenije: Hi. I think that the same applies to Serbia and we are not displaying these alternate versions, but there are separate pages for flag and coat of arms. That is the case with Vojvodina as well. There are links to Flag of Vojvodina and Coat of Arms of Vojvodina pages under these objects in Infobox currently. The question is whether that is enough for most users or do we need to have both versions in Infobox as well. What is your opinion? It may be difficult to display the alternate versions for this template.--AirWolf talk 19:52, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@AirWolf: No, the same does not apply to Serbia. Serbia has one flag with two different variants. But only one variant is to be used for any given purpose. On the other hand, Vojvodina has two different flags that should always be used together. Same goes for the coat of arms. See, for example, the web site of the Government of Vojvodina. Only one coat of Serbia is used, but both coats of Vojvodina are used. Vanjagenije (talk) 22:21, 17 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Vanjagenije: Without going into the details about whether what you are saying is true, I have added the requested elements to the Infobox template ([1]) - hope you are satisfied.--AirWolf talk 11:06, 20 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Six official names[edit]

A while back I moved the six (yes, six) official names to the section below, otherwise the lead sentence was too long in my opinion. They are also in the infobox. I would be open to putting them elsewhere in the lead section though. Cheers, Fredlesaltique (talk) 01:15, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I think the best solution is a note with a hyperlink to the names, this is important as many people don't go into the info-box and mobile users doesn't show the lead in one screen, per MOS usually translations should be somewhere in the lead and this is used for many articles see Spain as an example. I do understand that it can be cluttered so I added a small note to the names. Thanks. Des Vallee (talk) 01:26, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks; I reworded the note a bit so you don't have to click multiple times. I know the names are usually in the lead section, it's just unwieldy to have six like that (I think that's also in the MOS somewhere). Fredlesaltique (talk) 01:45, 21 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
