Potential source for a citation edit[edit]
So in the current edit of the article, there is this statement tagged as needing citation:
- It is slightly faster to create fabric by Tunisian than normal crochet, and approximately twice the speed of knitting.
It will probably need review by someone to determine validity as a source, but a blog post by Andrea Crețu from two years ago might work as one. It's not the origin of the statement, as the post presents the results of a experiment to see if the commonly given answers about relative speed, yarn consumption, etc. of knitting, standard crochet, and Tunisian crochet are correct in practice. Her findings re: speed, in summary, were that knitting is faster per stitch than standard or Tunisian crochet, but the differences in stitch size means it takes less time overall to reach a given area in crochet. Tunisian crochet stitches are larger than standard crochet stitches, so it is "faster" in the sense of taking fewer stitches to create a cloth of a given size. —An Interested Reader 67.248.170.204 (talk) 20:13, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
