Error in opening paragraph[edit]

The opening paragraph claims that Zynga Poker has 38 million players, and thus, is the largest online poker site in the world. That's objectively wrong - the [PokerStars] page notes that [PokerStars] has over 50 million players, and therefore, is obviously larger. Aujoz (talk) 14:39, 15 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is based on an ESPN article that specifically compared Zynga Poker to PokerStars and Full Tilt. If you have another reliable source comparing the userbase of Zynga Poker and other poker sites, please feel free to add it. RJaguar3 | u | t 15:34, 10 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Request to Revert Name Changes of Texas HoldEm Poker (Zynga game)[edit]

I would like to propose that the name changes on this page be reverted. I believe Zynga Poker is the common name for the game, even though the Facebook app is titled Texas HoldEm Poker, I believe Zynga Poker more accurately describes the game as a whole. Please let me know your thoughts on this. Here is some information that better illustrates the discrepancy.

Inside Social Games October 2011 list of the "top 25 Facebook games by DAU" lists "Texas HoldEm Poker" as the fourth-ranked game. [1]
An October 11, 2011 Los Angeles Times article about Zynga refers to its "popular Texas HoldEm poker game" without using the title "Zynga Poker" [2]
AllThingsD.com uses "Texas HoldEm Poker": "In 2007, [Zynga] launched Texas HoldEm Poker." [3]
Business Insider uses "Texas HoldEm Poker", probably following AppData/Inside Social Games: "[Zynga's] next most popular game is now Texas Hold 'Em Poker" [4]
Times of India used "Zynga Poker", viz. "Today Facebook and Zynga Poker have made [poker] extremely popular." [5]
AOL's games.com uses "Zynga Poker"; see [6].
In a PCWorld article on a patent infringement suit against Zynga, the game is listed as "Zynga Poker" [7]
TechCrunch: "CityVille launched on Google+ two weeks ago, joining Zynga Poker." [8]

Texas HoldEm Poker (Zynga game) → Zynga Poker — I believe the more common name for this game is Zynga Poker, which is why I originally named it as such. JovanWelks (talk) 22:04, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
