Saccharomyces kluyveri → Lachancea kluyveri – This organism was formerly classified as belonging to the Saccharomyces genus. However, after more detailed analysis of phylogenetic data, it became clear that it is more appropriate to place it in the genus Lachancea. The research article accessible at doi:10.1016/S1567-1356(03)00175-2 explains the details of this analysis. The website of the Genolevures consortium at http://genolevures.org/sakl.html also notes this reclassification. The page should be renamed to "Lachancea kluyveri", with "Saccharomyces kluyveri" redirecting there. --Relisted.
