Untitled[edit]

The cited boundaries also place the Sultan's "The Aviary" outside the so called Osterley area along with the Osterley Park House and they need to be re-thought.

According to the London Borough of Hounslow UDP map, Osterley Park House ..and most of the Park falls within the Osterley boundary..within the LBH.

The Sultan of Brunei's property and surrounding land (lake and weir etc) adjoins Osterley Park..but it actually lies within the London Borough of Ealing..in Windmill Lane.

Regarding the posting below. Osterley Tube Station is currently situated within Osterley...but not within the Osterley Park Conservation Area. The old station, located in Thornbury Road..and once called Spring Grove Station..is as stated..a Bookshop. Before that it was a greengrocers..in the 1970s

As for Osterley Tube being outside the quoted area why not mention that the station one was on Thornbury Road - the old booking hall is now a book shop DOuG

Isleworth[edit]

Is Osterley a part of Isleworth? If so, should this be made clear? —Preceding unsigned comment added by James Richardson (talkcontribs) 01:10, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Affluent?[edit]

Because of the Sultan's property? The place has the M4 intersecting and is on the flight path. Property prices there per sqm are no different to Brenford or Isleworth and both those two have more Victorian grade 2 listed buildings. Reaper7 (talk) 12:29, 14 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
