Every god is a dingir and all gods are dingir dingir. Nusku was the light and fire god in Babylonia and Assyria. Later on he was confused with Girru or also called Gibil. Nusku was used to represent all fire; both useful and devastating. He is thought to be the son of many people: Anu the god of the heavens, Enlil the god of the earth, and Sin the god of the moon. Nusku is teamed and friends with Ea the god of water, the purifier. He was also thought of the god of civilization in general because of all of what people do with fire. Nusku is the connection between gods and people since all offerings are given to the heavens by burning it. There are many places to worship Nusku in Babylonia and Assyria. He is also worshipped in more symbolic form than the other gods. He is not in any certain place in the heavens. This may have more info!
