Why I moved the Negromoon Creek article to this one[edit]
The first sources for this article only say that Negromoon creek flowed southeast into the Inglutalik River from the west somewhere upstream from Garryowen Creek.
One of the few current references to Negromoon Creek is a page at Alaska Guide Company that appears blank:

However, deep in the page's source code it says the creek flows east into the Inglutalik River.
The only other reference to Negro Moon Creek is to a mine of that name:

The coordinates of the mine are along the bank of the Nigikmigoon River, which flows south, then southeast to join the Inglutalik River through that river's west bank.
The Alaska Guide Company does have a page for Nigikmigoon River though:

It says the name was first reported by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1949.

This creek is so obscure that the name change isn't easily discovered online, but "Negromoon" was the early version of "Nigikmigoon" used among the white settlers. By 1949 that error was corrected. Oona Wikiwalker (talk) 05:26, 15 May 2024 (UTC)
