Suggested move[edit]

Kierzek made a generous correction to my bungled edit a few days ago to the Military career of Adolf Hitler, and I have been slow to raise it here, but the page name NSDAP Long Service Award mixes German and English and is not consistent with the parent Nazi Party. Would the authors object to a move to Nazi Party Long Service Award? Moonraker (talk) 02:55, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Makes sense to me. EricSerge (talk) 03:09, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Moonraker: That is the way it is listed in many books, as NSDAP ---; with that said, I am okay with your suggestion. NSDAP could then become the redirect, instead of the other way around. Kierzek (talk) 12:02, 25 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, I have moved it, but in the light of Kierzek's comment above I have left NSDAP Long Service Award as an alternative name in the lead. I hope that's all right. Moonraker (talk) 01:43, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine. Kierzek (talk) 16:52, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Letter color[edit]

In the description of 15 year award 'The reverse side inscription was silver with blue enamel lettering.' - to me it looks like silver lettering on a blue enamel background? Jonpatterns (talk) 16:13, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes. I checked, it was a typo, which I have fixed. After review of the drawing, photographs of the real award and the RS book source. Thanks, Kierzek (talk) 19:30, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
