NFL stats vs Pro-Football-Reference stats[edit]

@Sergio Skol, I feel very conflicted about this list. The NFL's website lists different stats for tackles than other websites do, and it's created problems in the past.

Bobby Wagner - NFL lists him as having 799 solo and 1,422 combined tackles whereas PFR lists him as having 900 solo and 1,523 combined tackles. How do we properly address this issue?

Lavonte David - NFL lists him as having 841 solo and 1,238 combined tackles whereas PFR lists him as having 949 solo and 1,346 combined tackles.

How do we properly address this? Which websites do we rely on? The official NFL website, or a separate stat tracking website? That issue is what stopped me from creating this page, and I'm not sure how we would properly address it for this list. Hey man im josh (talk) 18:03, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I chose to use the PFR stats because other pages do, like sacks or interception leaders, but I understand that having differences between PFR and NFL.com causes problems, that's why I wrote "According to Pro-Football-Reference.com", a possible solution could be to point out that there are many conflicts regarding this stat.
