Multi-Racial/ethnic people are Irish Americans???[edit]

Why is there multi-racial people (ex. Vanessa Hudgens) listed as Irish American? Irish American is a EUROPEAN ethnicity in America! So she has some Irish 1/4 that's not predominately so I don't know why she's listed here. So there's references that says she has some Irish she could go under [Category:American people of Irish descent] but that is different and is separate from being Listed as an Irish American, Like I said before Irish American is a European ethnicity in America.

List of Irish-American actor[edit]

This is a list of notable Irish-Americans who do not appear on the original list. All those people considered by different sources like Irish (if they have U.S. citizenship) or Irish-American (ie, people who are direct descendents of Irish, having a Irish father, to a close ancestor Irish, etc...) excluded from the original list on this list. Please, if you have reliable source to accept or reject these people as Irish-Americans indicate this:

birth year decade order versus alphabetic last name order[edit]

Is there some good reason why the names in this list are ordered by birth year decade (then last name) order instead of alphabetic by last name? This is probably the only list so ordered--the rest are just in last name order. I think that alphabetic last name order would be more useful and natural for r+ eaders, who would probably know last names, but not birth years decades. Hmains (talk) 19:22, 11 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Tidy and references[edit]

I have came across this article and it is very poor from a WP:BLPVIO view. Lots of people added no sources, no sources on there individual articles. The "part Irish", "Irish father" and such don't add anything to a list of "actors of Irish descent" , it speaks for itself. These details can be addressed at that actors page. The only thing of note would be where they are both American and Irish. I will continue to tidy this list up to meet guidelines. Arnkellow (talk) 09:44, 7 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
