Service as MP[edit]

The article gives his service as MP for Oxford University as 1679-85. However, Charles II's last parliament was dissolved in 1681. I therefore propose to give that date as the end of his service as MP. Alekksandr (talk) 16:53, 25 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Year of birth[edit]

The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography gives Jenkins' year of birth as 1625 (https://doi.org/10.1093/ref:odnb/14732, subscription needed). The previous edition of the DNB and the Encyclopaedia Britannica give it as 1623. It would be helpful to have a clarification of the reason for the change.
