Date of birth[edit]

Infobox says "November 12, 1842" but intro sentence says "c. 1839". Anyone know the exact date? -- œ ^™ 03:25, 1 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Plenty of sites say his exact birth date is unknown. November 12 is an important date in his career, but I see no evidence that it was his date of birth. It's not cited, so I'm removing it from the infobox. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 14:08, 4 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cause of death[edit]

Someone stuck him in the category of infectious disease deaths in spain, suggesting that's the cause. EdwardLane (talk) 09:19, 5 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
