Clarify: What does "triple m" mean?[edit]

There is a sentence in the main article that reads in relevant part:

"exemplifying the triple m in which the ancient sacred hymns of Greece were coined"

I have no idea what this phrase means. At the very least, it needs to be linked to a definition or article that covers its usage. It would be preferable to describe the meaning within this article, though, or remove it if it is too cumbersome to describe properly.

Right now, this unexplained phrase impairs a reader's understanding of the article.

It was an error introduced when digitizing the 1911 Encyclopedia Britannica. The original wording was "triple form". Now fixed. Gdr 21:27, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
