annual or perennial?[edit]

I'm working on something to potentially replace the list of culinary herbs and spices ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Table_of_plants_used_as_herbs_or_spices ), primarily using the respective Wikipedia pages as my info source, and this page doesn't specify whether this is a perennial, biennial, or annual herb. Anyone know? (my one look elsewhere seems to suggest perennial, but I don't know how reliable the source is) Tamtrible (talk) 05:41, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Perennial according to this source: http://temperate.theferns.info/plant/Alkanna+tinctoria Plantsurfer 12:19, 11 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

macassar[edit]

alkanet root is an ingredient in some recipes for Macassar oil, see Miss Leslie's book. https://chestofbooks.com/food/recipes/Cooking/How-To-Make-Macassar-Oil.html 100.15.127.199 (talk) 02:52, 11 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
