Avargan (Persian: اورگان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Chaghakhor Rural District[4] of Boldaji District, Borujen County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran. The village is populated by Lurs.[5]
At the 2006 census, its population was 2,553 in 535 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 2,477 people in 640 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,041 people in 636 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
