Knights Prairie Township is one of twelve townships in Hamilton County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 574 and it contained 261 housing units.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 36.41 square miles (94.3 km2), of which 36.32 square miles (94.1 km2) (or 99.75%) is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 km2) (or 0.25%) is water.[2]
