Klismaphilia (sometimes spelled Klysmaphilia) is a paraphilia involving enemas (introducing liquids into the rectum and colon via the anus). It is "distinguished by a preoccupation with the object or behavior to the point of being dependent on that object or behavior for sexual gratification."[1][2][3]

The term was coined in 1973 by Dr. Joanne Denko.[4]
