The nineteenth season of Germany's Next Topmodel[1] aired on ProSieben from February to June 2024 under the catch phrase GNTM for all.

The international destinations for this cycle are Santa Cruz, Los Angeles, Miami and Palermo.

This is the first season that introduces male contestants, and the first season since the 16th season to not include any best-ager models.[2][3][4][5] Also for this season, there will be two winners (one of each gender) who will receive prizes that include a joint cover and spread in the German edition of Harper's Bazaar and a €100,000 cash prize each.[6]

This season breaks the record for having the biggest pool of contestants in the history of the Top Model franchise with 40 contestants.

The new season began with auditionees from various genders aged 18 and above across Germany, vying for the final spots to compete in this competition. For the first part, they will undergo an open casting in Berlin. Tracy Baumgarten, who was a contestant in the previous season, later withdrew and placed 23rd of 35 contestants, entered as a "wildcard" for this season.

2832"Casting-Fieber und hoher Besuch"22 February 2024 (2024-02-22)

Part 2 of the open casting features the remaining contenders having various challenges at the historic Wilhelm Hallen in Berlin. Guest judge Jean Paul Gaultier, joining Klum to select the contenders to move forward to the final round and will receive a fitting by fashion designer, Jasmin Erbas. Also, Gaultier gives tips to the models.

With the casting session concludes, the contenders take part in the fashion show, with clothes designed by Jasmin Erbas. The final 40 contestants have been decided by Heidi Klum and Jean Paul Gaultier at the end of the episode, and will travel to Tenerife, Spain.

The episode started with 40 contestants arriving at Tenerife, Spain. All the contestants took part in the first shoot, a "self-timer shoot", with the theme "Be Yourself", where they'll be shooting two photos of themselves. The promo shoot for the 19th season of the show, along with the shooting of the music video of Klum's song "Sunglasses at Night", which is a cover of the same title performed by Corey Hart, and the opening title of the show itself, are the challenges for this episode, all with the direction of Rankin. It was split into two groups: One for the male, and one for the female. But before the challenge took place, Vivien, who was in the girls' group, decided to quit the show. At the end of the challenge, Aldin, Alexandra, Fabienee, Felix, Frieder, Jermaine, Julian, Kadidja, Lea, Leoni, Lilian, Lilli, Linus, Lydwine, Marvin, Max, Maximillian, Pitzi, Sara, and Xenia, all gained immunity for this episode, having won the challenge. Despite this, Pitzi left the show for unknown reasons, possibly due to his disqualification for his behavior at the show or withdrawal.

Regardless of the withdrawal of 2 contestants, the remaining contestants, coming from the non-immune contestants, took part in the 2nd photo shoot, which is also a group photo, where contestants pose in the ocean. Heidi Klum is this photoshoot's photographer. At judging, the contestants that are up for elimination will be judged by Klum and guest judge, Elizabeth Hurley, based on their photoshoot, as no elimination walk-off took place.

The bottom 7 were Felice, Hana, Marcia, Bảo-Huy, Tracy, Vanessa, and Yanik. The judges have decided to eliminate Bảo-Huy, Tracy, Vanessa, and Yanik for their poor performance.

Today the models learn everything about elegance and expression on the runway. Under the guidance of designer Marina Hoermanseder and catwalk professional Jon Kortajarena they delve into the secrets of the perfect catwalk - from the right head posture to the perfect turn. Afterwards their learned skills get tested in a challenging outdoor fashion show in Hoermanseder's outfits. Who can rise above and who fails?

Today the models receive major transformations at the makeovers with a huge challenge waiting right after for them to present their new looks: a fashion show at the futuristic Auditorio de Tenerife which includes many stairs and outfits by the designers Kaviar Gauche and Baldessarini. Heidi and guest judge Jourdan Dunn look for the models who leave the best impression.

Today the models learn about an important part of a model life: Heidi steps into the role of a criticial client and does a casting teaching with the contestants. Especially tricky is that they don't know that a real client is secretly watching, as well trying to find out who has the potential for their campaign. Moreover, the models will have a sed card photoshoot, with the furniture as props, which is to be shot by photographer, Christian Anwarder. The latter will also judge whether he'll use the model's best shots for the photo books or not.

At elimination, Heidi Klum and guest judge Christian Anwarder, named Alexandra, Grace, Lilli, Luka, Mare, Max, and Nuri, as the bottom seven for this episode, with Alexandra and Max leaving the competition for their poor performance at the photoshoot and the runway.

The remaining models make a stop in Frankfurt for a casting marathon before they arrive in their new home in Los Angeles. There a catwalk in the legendary Rose Bowl Stadium awaits them surrounded by football players. Their mission is to stay cool and rock the looks of guest judge Christian Cowan.

Journalist Claudia von Brauchitsch is back to check how the models will deal with their first interview, where designer Kilian Kerner watches them too in secret as he's on his own mission in Los Angeles, which they will find out later. He also gives the models a runway teaching and judges their creativity at the "Tiny Tokio", shot by photographer Yu Tsai.

After the runway, Dominik, Felix, Jana, Nuri, Stella, and Yusupha, landed in the bottom 6, but were not eliminated. However, they'll compete in the walk-off in the next episode, where some will be eliminated.

The episode begins where Intimissimi, the underwear label, announces a "casting call" for their campaign and invites all remaining female models to the casting with the theme "Italian Morning", where Grace was selected. Meanwhile, the bottom six from the previous episode will compete for a walk-off to determine who stays in the competition, which saw Felix, Jana, Nuri, and Yusupha end their journey after losing the shoot-out. At the same time, Frieder and Stella won the challenge. Moreover, the high fashion show in the SCS warehouse occurs, where Heidi and guest judge Winnie Harlow have to make another tough decision.

Dominik and Lilli were the second eliminated contestants for this episode.

The remaining models will have an underwater shoot, photographed by Russell James, where they have to portray as newlywed couples. Prior to that, Heidi visits them in their penthouse to teach them how to portray intimacy in front of the camera before they get into the pool.

During the judging, Mare and Maximilian did not impress the guest judge, James, and Klum at the photoshoot, resulting in their elimination.

This week, the models prepare for three different fashion shows with the help of their catwalk coach Micky Kurz. Who can master this challenge without any difficulties?

Ready, set, action! This week is all about videos. First the contestants have to get creative for a beauty casting where they have to portray their personal transformation in a video clip - starting natural without make-up and then displaying their stylish look with make-up applied by themselves. Afterwards they have to impress with their acting skills in a video shoot that takes place in a diner where guest judge and actor Thomas Kretschmann portrays a manager by their side. Director David Helmut completes this week's judging panel.

Today's casting is for a swimwear campaign where the models have to create colorful beach looks, while Nikeata Thompson comes back as guest judge to teach them choreographies to songs from the likes of Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. An additional challenge will be a lip-sync performance on top of it, before a final walk leads to another decision made by Heidi, Nikeata and the second guest judge Joan Collins.
