Could you please make Yugoslavia yellow? You didn't upload the .svg and Yugoslavia was with the Soviet Union until the Tito-Stalin split! --76.118.69.17 (talk) 19:23, 15 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I’ve intended the map to show the political situation in the year 1960Yugoslavia was then good terms with the Soviet Union, but on the other side it continued to not attending the congresses of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union (in fact, representatives of the Yugoslav government never attended CPSU congresses since the first after World War II was made after the Tito-Stalin split), differently from Communist China, which attended its last congress in Moscow in 1961.--MaGioZal (talk) 10:57, 16 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

maximum extent?[edit]

there were plenty of countries in Africa under Soviet influence in this time period.Tallicfan20 (talk) 03:58, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By 1959-1960, most of the Africa was still formed by European colonies, and at the time there were no independent Communist states there — when for instance Angola and Mozambique became Moscow-aligned, China was already out of the Soviet orbit.--MaGioZal (talk) 01:57, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

form[edit]

Can we change the shape of this map? It is very disorienting in the orb form, and it might as well be in a flat world map shape. 95.96.128.2 (talk) 00:47, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
