Errm well as BozMo says, why has the logo been fiddled with? William M. Connolley (talk) 21:44, 16 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored the "unfiddled-with" version, on the grounds that this is a logo, not an art project William M. Connolley (talk) 09:20, 18 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

And a slight 3-D view hurts the Logo how? It dose no harm to the article, and rvming. it is pointless Jetijonez (talk) 04:56, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It hurts the logo because it makes it not the logo. It makes it something else. I'm not trying to disparage your artistic ability, but to suggest to apply it to something appropriate William M. Connolley (talk) 09:07, 20 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Subsequent to the above discussion, Jj sneakily effected the same change by replacing the logo on the shell page [1]. I've reverted that. So File:Shell Oil Emblem.svg is now an orphan, and also should probably be deleted as a derivative of a non-free image William M. Connolley (talk) 08:19, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
