Coolest pic i seen on wiki so far

this pic is very cool but it is very unclear that the numbers first refer to BC then to AD. well maybe not 'very unclear', but it would be helpful if BC and AD were added. 07:55, 12 September 2006 (UTC)~

Very very neat picture. —Aiden 04:39, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Great image, I'd like to see more showing some other empires.. It seems that Malta is the wrong colour when the empire splits though, as far as I know it formed part of the eastern empire.

Timing[edit]

Your timer has gone haywire and is showin incorrect dates. For example, in the year 70, the Roman Empire (according to you) covered most of Europe. Simply south 18:03, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That's not Ancient Rome, it's Byzantine. Wikipedia draws a line between those two. Accept it. Mallerd 08:51, 21 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Problems[edit]

even though they were called Byzantines they considered them selves and never called them selves Byzantines btw.

Also for a period of time the romans in Britain were at the Antonian wall, before going back to Hadrian's Wall
