Is there really a copyright? This picture when it's from before the WW2, isn't the copyright then ending in 2007? --134.147.31.187 10:31, 6 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Without a source one can't tell. If this is indeed German, then copyright expires 70 years after the death of the author, if it's anonymous 70 years after first publication.
And whatever happened to the idea of citing the source so that anyone can verify that the picture indeed means what we take it to mean. This one looks like a stock de:Weltjudentum squeezing blood from the globe, but the context that it appeared in would still be helpful. Dr Zak 20:31, 6 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dr Zak, are you asking for the wider context or simply trying to get rid of the image? ←Humus sapiens ну? 01:05, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
He tagged it for deletion, [1] when a ten-second Google search would have given him the original source. SlimVirgin (talk) 01:11, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
As usual it's the job of the uploader to make sure his content is watertight. Dr Zak 01:14, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's your job not to engage in WP:POINT. SlimVirgin (talk) 01:15, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You say that every time one of your uploads gets tagged. It's unproductive behavior. Dr Zak 03:56, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No, I say it every time one of my uploads gets tagged by you. Please refer any future tagging of my images to someone else. SlimVirgin (talk) 05:59, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

However it came about I'm glad we have more information on the image. Since the octopus is meant to represent Churchill I think the caption at the new anti-semitism article needs to be reworded. Haukur 11:36, 7 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Combining tags[edit]

Is there any chance we can combine all the copyright tags into one as with File:2001 ed The International Jew by Henry Ford.jpg? -------User:DanTD (talk) 11:45, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
