Licencing[edit]
The manuscript was made in 1947 and published in 1984. This means it was "Created before 1978 and first published with notice in the specified period [(1978-1989)]" according to the Hirtle chart. This means "The greater of the term specified in the previous entry [(70pma)] or 31 December 2047" applies. Since Orwell died in 1950, 70pma expired on 2021.
