Not a Jacobs bogie[edit]

A diagram of an American-style truck showing the names of its parts and showing the journal boxes to be integral parts of the side frame[1][2][3]) /> The journal boxes house plain bearings

This is NOT a Jacobs bogie, but a regular standard North American truck with special side bearings on a regular bolster. Peter Horn User talk 18:01, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Rather, that is four regular side bearings on one bolster. Two each support one car. Peter Horn User talk 02:33, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, those appear to be special side bearings. Peter Horn User talk 02:49, 16 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
