California and Washington status?

User:Foolishgrunt added California and several other states to the map, because this website predicts they will allow McMullin write-ins by election day. User:Bcharles removed several of these states because this is merely a prediction, but he/she kept California and Washington as write-in states, providing the following reason: "keeping CA per GreenPapers, and WA per SoS".

Maps don't have footnotes, but footnotes are needed for each state at Evan McMullin presidential campaign, 2016#Ballot status. Could someone specify what actual sources say about CA and WA? Thanks. — Lawrence King ^(talk) 00:22, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
