The fair use of this photo was questioned, but this is a press kit photo of the first digital fax system. I know of no other examples or photos that exist. Thanks, Ellis408 (talk) 07:39, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
- Have all fax machines of this model been destroyed? Another thing: it says that the source is a "Dacom company brochure". Could you check when the brochure was published and whether there is a copyright notice somewhere in it? - Hi Stefan2 - Like most technology from the early 70s, I think it's highly unlikely that any examples of the machine itself have survived. Although this was a breakthrough technology at the time, by the early 80s it was replaced by cheaper and more compact Japanese models (based on the Dacom technology). I've held onto my first computer (an Atari 400 from the late 70s), but businesses are not usually packrats like me :-) Ellis408 (talk) 20:53, 29 February 2012 (UTC)
