memories

In 1960 perhaps 1961 i was on holiday in highcliffe then in hampshire with my pal. We had travelled there from high wycombe in bucks on our motorbikes we were both just 16.as is the way when you are very young we soon palled up with two girls who spoke differently to us and were very pretty. one blonde and one dark haired, they told us they came from colne in lancs. We spent some time together and had some fun for a few days and then it was time for us to leave. i have thought of them many times since, as that is my way and wondered what became of them. If they married or moved or whatever and would like very much to hear from either. If you read this and recognise yourselves, names now elude me but you may remember coming to wave us off late morning in the sea road carpark. one further detail was you were staying at the naish farm caravan park. if you chance to read this or anyone knows who you may be, i would love to hear from you.
