As source, "modified file:Indo-Pacific_biogeographic_region_map-fr.svg" is given, but that is a completely different map, and it contains none of the actual data (the geographical spread of the language family). As I understand it, that file is only a (very general) source for "a map showing the Indian and Pacific Oceans". It cannot be used as a source for the areas marked in red on this map. I came here to ask why only the Northern Island of New Zealand was included. I visited the Maori article, but could not immediately find any mention of that culture (and hence, language) not being present on the South Island? What is the explanation? CapnZapp (talk) 16:34, 28 November 2017 (UTC)
