Concerns[edit]

I have improved the summary re: NFCC8. The template in the tag read "Please remove this template if you have successfully addressed the concern," which led me to believe I could address the concern myself. Unlike some other tags placed on the other images flagged for review, this one did not specify "if you are an administrator"; therefore I modified the tag. (See revision history.) Reinserted the tag. I am willing to adjust rationales (as done here) to comply with observations/recommendations for this, or any of the other images flagged for review, to keep them uploaded (they are of lower visual quality, cropped, uniquely named etc.), and would more than welcome the opportunity to do so.

The image (extensively published elsewhere and in a much greater quality) is of the subject at his trial, inside the iron cage constructed to prevent him from relatives of his victims, and also illustrates his altered demeanor he had constructed and presented to society prior to his arrest. Articles of this nature, and populated length, have ample room, and one could argue the necessity to have a reasonable number of images to command and maintain readers' attention, when there are no free equivalents. I believe that this file should be kept, as it is important mainly in illustrating an important factor of the article (the iron cage) and Chikatilo's drastically different appearance during the trial. Comitialbulb561 (talk) 15:15, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
