Summary

Description
English: Zipf law plot (frequency as function of frequency rank) for the first five books (the Pentateuch) of the Old Testament in the Vulgate Latin Bible, translated from Aramaic by St. Jerome around 400 CE. Converted to lowercase.

The lbooks and the respecive word frequency files are:

  • Book 1, Genesis. Sample: in principio creavit deus caelum et terram terra autem erat inanis et [...] conditus aromatibus repositus est in loculo in aegypto. File latn/ptt/gen.1/gud.wfr (25217 words, N = 5713 distinct).
