Fair Use for Jean Grey[edit]

Non-free media information and use rationale true for Jean Grey
Description

This is the uncolored and unfinished cover of the first issue of X-Factor (1st Series) where the fifth member of the team, a female, had yet to be decided. Writing and art team Bob Layton and Jackson Guice originally intended Dazzler to be the fifth member of the team, but after Jean Grey was revived and cleared by then-Editor-in=Chief of Marvel Comics, Jim Shooter, the team chose Jean Grey instead. In response to a fan question, Layton posted this image and stated that the features specific to Jean Grey were inked in later. This marked Jean Grey's official return to the X-Men franchise.
