Summary

Description
English: Contour advection simulation of a water-vapour isoline

over five days in the upper troposphere (sigma level 33 in ECMWF ERA-40 data, or roughly 400 HPa). The simulation was conducted with C++ software written by Peter Mills and diven by ECMWF wind fields. Individual images were created in Interactive Data Language

and pasted together with Imagemagick.
