| Description |
Dansk: I december 2020 blev en række guldfund gjort i Vindelev nord for Jelling, herunder adkillige brakteater. Brakteaten kaldet "X 13" har en runeindskrift dateret til 400-tallet hvoraf en del af indskriften lyder: "iz Wōđnas weraz". Oversat til moderne dansk står der: "han (er) Odins mand". I marts 2023 blev betydningen af denne del af indskriften offentliggjort, og runeeksperterne gjorde i den forbindelse opmærksom på, at det pr. 2023 er den ældste kendte indskrift i verden med navnet Wōđnas / Odin. Brakteaten har pr. 2023 været offentligt udstillet to forskellige steder, dels på udstillingen Magt og guld - vikinger i øst på Vejle Kunstmuseum i 2022 og dels på udstillingen Jagten på danmarkshistorien på Nationalmuseet i København fra 2023 til 2024. Indskriften står spejlvendt og skal således læses fra højre mod venstre. Bogstaverne NA på billedet er sløret af skyggen fra øsknet, som er monteret øverst på brakteaten. |
