English: U.S. Navy fighter ace Ira "Ike" Kepford pictured in a press photo shoot after the second combat deployment of Fighting Squadron 17 (VF-17) "Jolly Rogers". Kepford, an Vought F4U Corsair pilot, was at the time the U.S. Navy's leading ace with 16 credited victories.
