Summary

Description A U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Sikorsky UH-34D Seahorse helicopter (BuNo 145801) from Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron HMM-772 operating from the amphibious assault ship USS Guadalcanal (LPH-7). These ship-to-shore flights between the Guadalcanal and Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina (USA), represented the last amphibious exercise by the Marine Corps employing the UH-34 helicopter. The UH-34D 145801 was retried on 17 December 1971.
