English: The Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line,also known as theTrans Tokyo Bay Expressway, is a part of Route 409, which connects Kawasaki City in Kanagawa Prefecture and Kisarazu City, in Chiba Prefecture. The expressway consists of a 9.5-km undersea tunnel that starts in Kawasaki, a 4.4-km bridge from Kisarazu, two man-made islands, and additional access roads.[1] Two columns of vehicles merged on a 5-level commercial facility and parking spaces of Umihotaru, built on a 650m Kisarazu artificial island with a parking space overlooking Tokyo Bay 360 degrees.[2] The driver can cross Tokyo Bay in about 15 minutes.
