English: American soccer pioneer Thomas W. Cahill and film director King Baggot and his son King Baggot, Jr., on page 23 of the October 6, 1923 Universal Weekly. The accompanying article states that Baggot played center forward on Cahill's St. Louis Shamrocks team about 26 years earlier (circa 1897). Cahill was visiting Baggot in Universal City, California, while at the West Coast for the annual convention of the California Soccer Football Association.
