English: The Adventure of the Speckled Band is a 10th Sherlock Holmes short story written by Arthur Conan Doyle first published in the The Strand Magazine in february 1892. Illustration by Martin van Maële (in Société d'Édition et de Publications, 1906) with the caption (oryginally in French):
Sherlock examined the seat of it with the greatest attention.
