English: Stepped cockpit layout/close-up of the Douglas/ST Aerospace TA-4SU Super Skyhawk trainer. Note the row of vortex generators on the drooped leading edge slats as well as the Ram-air intake mounted on the portside for cooling the jet engine, this was a unique feature for all T/A-4SU Super Skyhawks. Note also the chrome-plated muzzle brake of the Colt Mk.12 cannon. |
