Description

English: Supported lipid bilayer formation on surface covered with nanoparticles of different sizes. Transmembrane pores (or holes) are formed around particles of approximately 1 to 20 nm diameter. Shown 3D figures are the adapted representation of the series of tapping mode atomic force microscopy images recorded under liquid buffer medium.
