| Description |
English: Sundial in the Sundial Garden, Singapore Botanic Gardens. The time is showed by horizontal bar. Hours are numbered on the arc without the bar, in the order 7,6,5,4,3,2,1,12,11,10,9,8,7. The sundial design is adapted to the fact that Singapore is very close to the equator, so the Sun at midday shines from the north in summer and from the south in winter.
