| Description |
English: The Stratton Bald Trail (#54) approaching the summit of Stratton Bald (el. 5360ft/1634m) in the Unicoi Mountains of the southeastern United States. Stratton Bald was once a giant grassy bald— a type of highland meadow— although forest has started to reclaim much of the mountain's crest. A bald area is still maintained on Bob Bald, a subpeak of Stratton just west of the summit. |
