English: Stereogram showing the adhesive attitude of Axine belone (Monogenea, Axinidae) on a gill of the garfish Belone belone (Belonidae, Beloniformes). ga, Gill arch; ha, haptor; ih, inner hemibranch (half gill); oh, outer hemibranch (half gill); pl, primary lamella; sld, secondary lamellae on dorsal side of primary lamella; slv, secondary lamellae on ventral side of primary lamella. Arrows, direction of gill-ventilating current.
