Summary

Description
English: Bridge over the River Ouse, the third of the three road bridges over the river in central York. Work started on the bridge in 1878 and it was opened to pedestrians on 1 January 1881 and to all traffic two months later. The initial architect was Thomas Page, succeeded by his son George Page when his father died early in the development. Grade II listed.
