Summary

Description
English: One of pictures with a focus on the walls. They are visible on several other pictures too. The Sillyon wall developed in two parts, the acropolis and the lower city. The upper part of the natural rocky hill on which Sillyon is located, the south-west, west and northwest of the city, which forms the acropolis and the lower city, are suitable for settlement. Naturally, the fortification system is also clustered in these areas, this place is shaped from south-west to north and is approximately 1000 m. It is protected by a long wall. On the other hand, only the western side of the acropolis is surrounded by city walls; Since other areas have steep slopes with cliffs, they were left to a natural fortification.
