Deutsch: Sesterze des römischen Kaisers Hadrianus. Durchmesser 32mm. Gewicht 25 gr. Eine Seite zeigt das Profil von "Hadrianus Augustus", die andere Rom sitzend, ein Siegessymbol haltend. "S C" bedeutet "Senatus Consulto". Gefunden in der Garonne bei Bordeaux 1965 in einem Schiffswrack
English: A sestertius of roman Emperor Hadrianus. Brass. Diameter 32mm. Weight 25 gr. One side shows the laureate profile of the emperor "Hadrianus Augustus", the other side shows Rome sitting, holding "Victory" and a cornucopia. "S C" means "Senatus Consulto". Found in the river Garonne near Bordeaux in 1965, from a shipwreck in 155 or 156 CE.
Français : Un sesterce de l'Empereur romain Hadrien. Laiton ("orichalque"). Diamètre 32mm. Poids 25 gr. Une face montre le profil lauré de l'empereur "Hadrianus Augustus", l'autre face montre Rome assise, tenant d'une main l'ange ailé de la victoire, et de l'autre une corne d'abondance. les lettres "SC" signifient "Senatus Consulto", l'empereur devant consulter le Sénat pour être autorisé à battre monnaie.Trouvé dans la Garonne près de Bordeaux en 1965, provient d'un naufrage ayant eu lieu en 155 ou 156 de notre ère.
