Summary

Description
English: A segment of the East Side Gallery of the Berlin Wall, with a watchtower in the background of the work titled 'Detour to the Japanese Sector'. The lamps are not street lamps, rather they illuminate the "Death Strip" on the far side of the wall. The same year the tower was demolished and later the lamps as well. (2 of 4)
