Deutsch: Südostansicht des obersten Bereiches der Burgruine Schrattenstein in der niederösterreichischen Gemeinde Schrattenbach.
Die Burg wurde bereits im 12. Jahrhundert urkundlich bzw. deren Herren erwähnt. In den Türkenkriegen spielte die Burg jedoch keine Rolle mehr, da sie damals bereits verlassen und ruinös war. Seit 1937 ist sie im Besitz der Gemeinde Wien, die das ausgedehnte umliegende Waldgebiet, gemeinsam mit dem Schloss Stixenstein, von den Grafen Hoyos erwarb: [1], [2].
