This image is used to depict the subject of the work in question, as it is the cover of the book which described the campaign setting.
The image is from a free setting that was released by TSR (now Wizards of the Coast) via the internet in 1996. Wizards currently does not maintain the setting in question, and they have indicated that they have no present plans on revisiting the setting in the foreseeable future. This image was never used commercially by its owners when it was being maintained, much less so now. The image is important for the article, as it is one of the few images available that is associated with the setting.
