English: The best preserved sword from the early Middle Ages in Finland has been excavated in from a man grave on Papinmäki in Eura. The helve is decorated by Germanic animal ornamentation chased in gold and silver. Also the shethe has been decorated in an artistic way.
Svenska: Det bäst bevarade svärdet från Finlands merovingertid har grävts fram ur en mansgrav på Prästbacken i Eura. Handtaget pryds av germansk djurornamentik ciselerad i guld och silver.
